About the role

The role of Product Lead in the Product Engineering group combines both hands-on product ownership of a vertical with leadership of Product team members. The role provides product support for either the Carbon or Reforestation focus areas of the platform, to enable a 1:1 mapping of Product Management to Engineering Stands. Additionally, this team member is responsible for ensuring strong leadership and guidance of the Product team members (Product Management and UI/UX).

This is a full-time position, and we are open to full-time remote work within Canada. Our office is in Vancouver, BC, and is available for employees who prefer in-person settings. Our compensation is benchmarked and based on experience. Responsibilities:

Contribute to the creation and execution of a product roadmap
Lead and guide the product management group, including Product Management and UI/UX roles
Drive the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
Communicate product plans and progress to stakeholders and leadership
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data science, and operations, to deliver high impact features that enhance our operational efficiency
Use data-driven approaches to measure product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on product improvements.
Lead and guide the product management group, including Product Management and UI/UX roles

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience required:

5+ years of experience in product management (experience in data-oriented applications preferred)
Strong understanding of the product development cycle, including user experience and design
Comfortable working with ambiguity and energized by the idea of creatively solving big challenges
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Professional level proficiency in English & Spanish a strong asset
Past experience working in Latin America or with Latin American users would be beneficial
Knowledge of carbon credit generation or experience in agroforestry and reforestation projects is a plus.

Compensation

$111,700.00 - $156,380.00 per year
